How do I get started?
- To obtain a referral, request counseling, ask a legal question, or secure financial services,
call SAVE directly at (805) 962-5387 or (800) 299-2311. Simply identify your employer in order to
verify your eligibility. Remember that family members living with you are also entitled to SAVE services!
Does the Employee Assistance Program cost anything?
- Your employer has retained SAVE. There is no charge to you or your family members. The program is provided
as a benefit to you because your employer considers you a valuable employee and wants to keep you that way!
Employees and their family members are offered three sessions per person, per situation.
Are services confidential?
- Be assured that all contacts with SAVE professionals are confidential and private. All records are kept
confidential, in locked cabinets at SAVE offices, in accordance with federal and state laws. Information will NOT be
shared with your employer or become part of personnel or medical records.
What should I do in an emergency?
- If you need to talk to a counselor after hours, one can be paged. In a life-threatening emergency, call 911.
Who will provide the services?
- Counseling services are provided by professional counselors including marriage and family therapists,
social workers, psychologists, or certified employee assistance professionals. Attorneys provide legal services,
and financial consultations are provided by financial planners.
